S.M.I.❤.E (Single Mom Implementing Love + Encouragement) has been my vision for many years, as having been a single mother of 5 who faced homelessness. Always having deep desire to establish a community that supports, communities, single mothers and families in need, this call-to-action was ignited by the recent devastation of Hurricane Laura; and the affect it had on communities, single mothers, and families.

 

This led to my first Humanitarian effort.

 

On September 19, 2020, as a part of our efforts and with the support of District Judge elect - Bobby Holmes, City Councilman Craig Marks, NAACP Lake Charles Chapter,  J.J's Jammin Food,  Jobe Guillery and my iS Clinical family, we were able to provide basic necessities for single mothers & their children to include diapers, wipes, clothing, gift cards for formula as well as hot meals served to over 200 people in Lake Charles, La., who were affected by the recent event. 

 

On September 26, 2020, People Who Care Houston, TX, in conjunction with The Campaign to Elect Bobby Holmes District Court Judge - Lake Charles, LA and S.M.I.❤.E Los Angeles, CA supported the community of Lake Charles, LA., and the surrounding areas by providing cleaning supplies to help the residents achieve a sense of normalcy. Lake Charles is on the road to recovery and our mission will continue to remain the Heart for the People.

 

As an on-going effort for the Lake Charles community and surrounding areas, as well as our local communities, it is our goal to continue our mission of giving back.  Your financial support will help bring relief to many families during these unprecedented times and we thank you for your generous support.
